What Is Ganoderma?

More commonly known as reishi, ganoderma is a hard, bitter mushroom used to promote health and longevity in traditional Chinese medicine. Proponents claim that ganoderma can relieve fatigue, keep cholesterol in check, curb high blood pressure, tame inflammation, build stamina, and support the immune system.

An increasingly popular natural remedy, ganoderma is only used as a medicinal mushroom and isn't recommended for cooking.
Ganoderma Research

Ganoderma shows promise in reducing cholesterol levels and easing allergy-related inflammation of the airways, according to preliminary evidence from animal-based studies. Here's a look at more of the science behind ganoderma's health-enhancing effects.

1) Cancer and the Immune System

Often used as an immune stimulant by people with cancer (as well as HIV), ganoderma has been shown to strengthen immunity as well as combat cancer-cell proliferation. In a 2003 study of 34 people with advanced-stage cancer, for instance, taking ganoderma in supplement form three times daily for 12 weeks led to a significant increase in T-cells (known to play a central role in immune defense).

Lab tests on breast cancer cells, meanwhile, found that combining extracts of ganoderma and green tea heightened the mushroom's ability to slow cancer-cell growth.

2) Antioxidant Benefits

Several small studies have suggested that regular use of ganoderma supplements may increase your levels of antioxidants, compounds thought to protect against disease and aging.

3) Relief of Urinary Tract Symptoms

In a 2008 study of 88 men with urinary tract symptoms, researchers found that ganoderma was significantly superior to placebo in providing symptom relief.
How to Use Ganoderma

Ganoderma is available in capsules and liquid extracts, both of which can be found at health food stores. You can also take ganoderma in tea or coffee form, but beware that the flavor may be bitter.

Some people experience dry nose, dry throat, nausea, and gastrointestinal problems (such as nausea) when taking ganoderma. Since the mushroom might interact with certain medications (such as anticoagulants and some chemotherapeutic agents), it's important to tell your physician if you're currently taking or considering the use of ganoderma.

Ganoderma is a genus of polypore mushooms which grow on wood and include about 80 species, many from tropical regions.[1] Because of their extensive use in traditional Asian medicines, and their potential in bioremediation, they are a very important genus economically. Ganoderma can be differentiated from other polypores because they have a double walled basidiospore.

[edit] Etymology

The name Ganoderma is derived from the Greek ganos/????? "brightness, sheen", hence "shining" and derma/????? "skin",[2]
[edit] Description

Ganoderma are characterized by basidiocarps that are large, perennial, woody brackets, also called "conks". They are lignicolous, leathery, and either with or without a stem. The fruit bodies typically grow in a fanlike or hooflike form on the trunks of living or dead trees. They have double-walled, truncate spores with yellow to brown ornamented inner layers.
[edit] Phylogeny

The genus was named by Karsten in 1881.[3] Members of the family Ganodermataceae were traditionally considered difficult to classify because of the lack of reliable morphological characteristics, the overabundance of synonyms, and the widespread misuse of names.[4][5] Until recently, the genus was divided into two sections – Section Ganoderma with a shiny cap surface (like Ganoderma lucidum) and Elfvingia, with a dull cap surface, like Ganoderma applanatum. Phylogenetic analysis using DNA sequence information derived from mitochondrial SSU rDNA, have helped to clarify our understanding of the relationships amongst Ganoderma species.[6][7] The genus may now be divided into six monophyletic groups:[8]

    * G. colossus group
    * G. applanatum group
    * G. tsugae group
    * Asian G. lucidum group
    * G. meredithiae group
    * G. resinaceum group

In 1905, American mycologist William Murrill delineated the genus Tomophagus to accommodate the single species G. colossus (then known as Polyporus colossus) which had distinctive morphological features that did not fit in with the other species.[9] Historically, however, Tomophagus has generally been regarded as a synonym for Ganoderma.[10] Nearly a century later, phylogenetic analyses vindicated Murrill's original placement, as it has shown to be a taxonomically distinct appropriate genus.[8]
[edit] Significance
[edit] Industry

Ganoderma are wood-decaying fungi with a cosmopolitan distribution, and can grow on both coniferous and hardwood species. They are white-rot fungi, and have enzymes that allow them to break down wood components such as lignin and cellulose. There has been significant research interest in trying to harness the power of these wood-degrading enzymes for industrial applications such as biopulping[11] or bioremediation.[12][13][14]
[edit] Medicine
Ganoderma lucidum

Several species of Ganoderma have been used in traditional Asian medicines for thousands of years. Collectively, the Ganoderma are being investigated for a variety of potential therapeutic benefits:

    * anticancer effects [15][16]
    * immunoregulatory effects[17][18]
    * antioxidant activities[19][20]
    * liver-protecting effects[21][22]
    * hypoglycemic effects[23][24]
    * antibacterial effects[25]
    * antiviral effects[26][27]
    * antifungal effects[28]
    * reducing blood cholesterol[29]
    * inhibiting blood vessel regeneration (angiogenesis)[30]
    * antifibrotic effects[31]
    * protection against radiation-induced damage [32]
    * reducing lower urinary tract symptoms [33]
    * increasing endurance for vigorous exercise [34]

[edit] Notable species

    * Ganoderma applanatum - Also known as the Artist's conch
    * Ganoderma lucidum - Also known as Reishi or Lingzhi
    * Ganoderma multipileum - the correct name for G. lucidum in tropical Asia
    * Ganoderma philippii - A plant pathogen
    * Ganoderma pseudoferreum - Responsible for the root rot of cacao, coffee, rubber and tea trees
    * Ganoderma tsugae - A polypore which grows on conifers, especially hemlock; thus the common name, Hemlock varnish shelf. Similar in appearance to Ganoderma lucidum, which typically grows on hardwoods.[35]

Ganoderma is a type of mushroom, which is also known as Reishi. It has been well used and documented and medicinal treatment throughout China for over 4000 years. The Chinese refer to Ganoderma as “spirit medicine”, the Chinese used it to promote longevity. In ancient times, this mushroom was reserved for the Kings, as it was relatively rare and hard to find. Now, thanks to the advent of technology this mushroom can be farmed, making it more affordable and accessible to the average person.

Reishi is used to treat many different ailments ranging from stress-related conditions to fatigue and sleep disorders. While it is great for people who suffer from any form of stress anxieties, the mushroom itself is fantastic. As an overall health tonic

Reishi is often used as a preventative measure as a way to avoid any health problems that may arise in the future. The mushroom is well-known for its ability to strengthen the body's immune system, it is said that it can help aid off infections and viruses that may well run riot in a weakened immune system. Science is currently researching Reishi and its healing properties as we speak, hopefully, so that one day, they can fully understand the healing powers of this magical mushroom. It is often prescribed to people who are suffering from cancer and are currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Some of the side-effects of chemotherapy are hair loss, appetite loss, fatigue and lethargy. Ganoderma has been shown to lessen these side-effects. Reishi is thought to be one of the well-respected mushrooms used today in modern medicine.

There are a plethora of other disorders which are known to respond to treatment with this seemingly magical mushroom, these can include lung and liver disorders, HIV/AIDS, allergies and even heart problems. Even conditions such as age spots and acne may benefit from the use of this magical mushroom. This mushroom is also thought to help reverse some of the signs of ageing, including skin and may have been damaged due to excessive exposure in the sun.

This mushroom is mostly composed of carbohydrates that are quite complex in their structure, these are known as triterpeniods, water soluble polysaccharides , amino acids and proteins. Scientists have discovered that because of this they tend to have postive effects such as lowering blood pressure, immune modulating and even anti tumor properties.

Triterpenes are another substance found in ganoderma, these are also known as ganoderic acids. Studies have shown that these ganoderic acides act much like an anti histamine and there for are great for allergies. Triterpenes are quite bitter to the taste and the level of triterpenes can often be known simply by measuring how bitter how bitter the finished product is. The more bitter it is the more triterpenes the product contains.

As we have already mentioned, a regular course of this medicinal mushroom will help improve your bodys immune system in addition to aiding the bodys blood circulation which in turn means better overall health for you.

As with any new treatment or even exercise regimen, we highly recommend that you discuss this with your doctor or GP before deciding to take the course of treatment.

Once you have discussed the option of using it with your doctor, you can then try and source some either at your local health shop or at some of the various web sites found on the Internet.

Ganoderma Spore

Every summer and autumn, the Ganoderma fruit body ripen, it releases Spore powder. The most precious part of Ganoderma is Ganoderma Spore. This Spore Powder refers to the seeds of Ganoderma Plant that are released by the Ganoderma Fruit Body once it reaches maturity. Like the pollen of flowers, it contains all the essence medicinal and biological properties with very high curative power. A spore was found to be 75 times greater efficacy than that of the Ganoderma Body which is proved by the Scientist. 1000kg Ganoderma can only extract 1kg spore powder.

The spore is a powdery substance and the quintessence of Ganoderma. The spore is released in its mature period. As a powerful supplement in diseases prevention and treatment, Ganoderma spore is very rare and valuable.

  Spore
Spore Magnified 3000X

Ganoderma Spore has a tough shell or 'husk', therefore, raw Spore are not easily digested and absorbed by the body system to effect healing. Recent scientific breakthrough allows an effective method to be developed for removing the hard shell of the Spore aiding absorbsion by the human body - delivering the full medical value of the spore.

Broken Spore
Broken Spore Magnified 15000X

Pharmacological experiments have indicated that the spore has a very strong ability to bring a magnificent effect in alternative cancer treatment and other diseases treatment. Some of these compounds can not be found in Ganoderma strain or Ganoderma extracts. This is why the spore has more power and unique functions than Ganoderma strain or its extracts.

Ganoderma Coffee

What if I told you that this is REAL coffee (not a coffee substitute) grown and processed organically without the use of chemicals, pesticides, hormones or artificial fertilizers? What if I told you that this coffee actually helps to remove toxins from your body, and with every cup you drink, you can feel better and realize increasing health benefits? Ganoderma Extract

Due to its increasing worldwide popularity there is more Ganoderma extract available on the market. From Ganoderma Extract to Ganoderma Coffee these supplements have reportedtly had significant healing effects. There are however factors that you should consider when purchasing any type of Ganoderma Extract..
Ganoderma Extract or Grinding

Some companies grind the Ganoderma into a powder form while other companies use far more advanced methods to extract the prized Ganoderma. Extraction concentration can be as high as 100 to 1. That means, 1000kg of this fungus is extracted to only 1kg. One of the more advanced methods combines

Capsulated or Log Wood Cultivation

Ganoderma is more comonly found vacuum packed cultivated using wooden crams and chemicals. This has the effect of a softer fruit body with less active components which affects the  health benefits. Due to this method some Ganoderma may contain heavy metals or even mercury ( If they utilize this method) .Log wood cultivated Ganoderma is a far more potent in its medicinal properties. It is purer with higher concentration of active components. This cultivation method is much more expensive due to the space and time needed so some manufacturers prefer to use capsulated cultivated Ganoderma.

Ganoderma Spore Powder

Ganoderma Spore powder is the most precious part of Ganoderma herb with the most concentration of active components like Organic Germanium, Polysaccharides and Triterpenes to name a few. Choose Ganoderma extract with spore powder for better results or even better look for Ganederma Spore that has the cell wall broken which enables better absorbtion of the health giving nutrients.
Percentage of Ganoderma extract

SWhen considering purchasing Ganoderma Extract take the extra time to find a reputable company to buy your Ganoderma from or at the very least make sure to read what the concentration of Ganoderma Extract it contains. Many companies proclaim that their product is "pure" Ganoderma Extract but the reality is that it may only contain 10-20% while the rest is purely some type of filler.

Worldwide, Ganoderma Cultivation following methods:

1) Wood log cultivation, the most popular method.
2) Pot or bottle cultivation.
3) Tank cultivation.

Over the past 30 years, numerous studies have been made to find the best method to create high-quality Ganoderma lucidum. These observations have shown that the best method to harvest high-quality Ganoderma lucidum is the wood log cultivation. Some of the other necessary attributes needed for the highest quality Ganoderma are:

(l) Selection of the highest strain.
(2) Using the right method of cultivation.
(3) To harvest them at the right time.
(4) To treat them properly after the harvest.
1) Selection of the highest strain:

The term "strain of Ganoderma lucidum" is not defined academical term. We use the term "strain of Ganoderma lucidum" here, to classify Ganoderma lucidum for being spread. There are many strains of Ganoderma lucidum, and Ganoderma lucidum included in the "GY system" are all of good strains. There are three typical strains "GYN", "GYK", "GYG" all part of the "GY system" Ganoderma lucidum. These strains have special characteristics as defined in the following table.

Ganoderma Cultivation
Ganoderma Cultivation
Three Typical Strains of GY-System Strain     Color of pileus     Characteristics of medical effect
GYN     Five colors
(red, blue, black, yellow, white)     Mainly fixes the function of "Sei" (Energy), i.e ., blood and muscle.
GYK     Fine yellow     Mainly fixes the function of "Ki" (Air), i.e., trachea, blood vessel and skin.
GYG     Fine white     Mainly fixes the function of "Shin" (Spirit), i.e., brain, nervous system, sense organs, capillaries such as spleen, pancreas, gallbladder.

The biggest notable characteristics of these "GY system" Ganoderma lucidum is their effectiveness as a panacea. A "cure-all" medicine is not conceivable in modern medicine, but we believe that there are "cure-all" traditional medicine. The best account for it can be found in the followings: 1) Modern medicine : The efficacy of medicine understood and used for "scientific reason". 2) Traditional medicine : The efficacy of mind "Sei", "Ki", "Shin" (Energy, Air and Spirit) in food is understood and used by mystic sensitivity. It also can be found in the descriptions of "Honzo Komoku"; the ancient Chinese book of medicine.
(2) Using the right method of cultivation

The medical efficacy of Ganoderma lucidum is distributed abundantly in hymenium. From this view point I may say that Ganoderma lucidum, without hymenium, cannot be regarded as high-quality Ganoderma lucidum, even if it may have been the highest strain, grown in the good method, harvested at the good time and treated properly after the harvest. To make good Ganoderma lucidum with abundant hymenium, there are some important points to follow:

1) To cultivate using wood logs;
2) To cultivate using "natural stimulations" (temperature, moisture, sunlight, wind and soil bacterium) as thoroughly as possible. In few words, it is important not to grow them overprotectively.
(3) To harvest them at the right time

All life has only one "peak" during its lifetime when all its life forces: "Sei", "Ki" and "Shin" (Energy, Air and Spirit) are at their most powerful. It is at this time that its propagative powers becomes optimum. When cultivating Ganoderma lucidum, it is important to monitor and harvest at this particular time. We can underline that the possibility to harvest at this optimum time is one advantage of artificial cultivation of Ganoderma lucidum.

(4) To treat them properly after the harvest

Ganoderma lucidum makes "anti-disease power" when living (or anti-bodies to fight against bacteria, etc... from the soil) . It is this "anti-disease power" that we expect to act favorably when consumed. All life has healing properties that raise its own anti-disease power, under stern conditions of nature, and abiding by providence of nature. Fresh cells of Ganoderma lucidum start to perish immediately after the harvest. Ganoderma lucidum must not be dehydrated rapidly artificialy as that hinders the growth of the anti-disease power. Ganoderma lucidum can be preserved in cool, dark and stable place.

Ganoderma Origins

Relatively rare and undiscovered in the West, Reishi and other mushrooms have been revered as herbal medicines for thousands of years in Japan and China.

Emperors of the great Chinese dynasties and Japanese royalty drank teas and concoctions of the mushroom for vitality and long life. The ancient Taoists were constantly searching for the elixir of eternal youth, and Reishi was believed to be among the ingredients. In ancient time, reishi in medicine was considered so auspicious that its medical efficacy has been attested to in the oldest Chinese medical text (presumed to be over 2,000 years old).

The book, which is known in Japan as "Shinnoh Honsohkyo", is now accepted as being the original textbook of Oriental medical science. In it, 365 kinds of medicines are classified and explained. The medicines are basically classified into 3 categories: 120 of them are declared to be "superior" medicines, another 120 are classified as "average" medicines, and the remaining 125 are placed in the "fair" category. The "superior" medicines are called "God's Herbs" and they are for perpetual youth and longevity - the medicines of the legendary wizards.

The "average" category medicines are those which can be taken as a tonic, and those in the "fair" category are taken to remedy specific ailments. One must be careful about the volume taken of the "average" and "fair" category medicines, and should never take them continuously. However, the book states that for "superior" medicines, any amount can be taken as desired on a continuous basis with no unfavorable effects. Of the superior medicines listed in the text, reishi was rated number one.

Ganoderma Healing

Ganoderma which has been discribeda as "The King of Herbs" has been shrouded in mystery and secrecy. Described as the Celestial Herb due to absence of any side effects irrespective of dosage and long term usage. This elixir was the cure all for any and every illness in the medical practices of the orient. It also was know for its anti-aging properties and perhaps is the secret of oriental health and longevity. Modern Western science has now identified over 280 active ingredients that have healing medicinal properties.

Taking ganoderma on a daily basis helps detoxify the body, rejuvenate the cells, balance the functions of various organs and help remove disorders. It helps in stress relief and due to this property alone it is effective is preventing disease. It also aids the body in building up the immune systems thus helping to avoid illnesses related problems.

In the early 1970's the veil of secrecy begin to be lifted with various researchers beginning to study the medicinal properties of ganoderma. The research mainly by Chinese and Japanese and the analysis and clinical experiments done by hospitals, collages and pharmaceutical manufacturers, has clearly established the extensive efficacy in the healthy functioning of almost every part of the body.

It truly is a natural wonder drug with many healing properties. It is a hemocatharsis, detoxificant, diuretic, liver protector, intestine regulator, cardio tonic, blood pressure adjuster, a cold tonic, antitussive and expectorant, a tranquilizer and anti tumor agent. It can help your bodies metabolism, prevent tissue degeneration, improve the bodys immune system and help one's self eliminate viruses.

I have been suffering from a chronic injury for over a year with a separated shoulder. While landscaping this spring I began to experience increasing pain in the area, compounding the issue further with tendonitis in the upper bicep region. My friend and business partner, Uwe Uehle, blessed me by introducing to me a product and business opportunity that has literally been transforming my life. Replacing conventional coffee with the Healthy Coffee, which contains Ganoderma Lucidum, has eased the inflammation in the shoulder and bicep, sustained energy levels throughout the day, aided digestion and has allowed me to trade the 9 to 5 grind for a full-time business venture that is growing daily. I have introduced the Healthy Coffee to many friends and family who are now also loyal customers, some of whom have joined the business with me. We've even signed on a team member last week in Puerto Rico. Ganoderma is truly the King of Herbs and king of business opportunities. It is an honor to be carrying out the GanoExcel mission of bringing health and wealth to every family!

65 years and getting younger by the minute My Ganoderma Story: Before I started taking Ganoderma Lucidum one year ago, I felt "an absolute wreck'', in fact I thought I was "going down the tube" When I eventually got out of bed each day, I felt like I had been hit by a truck I was sore all over and it took me a few minutes to stand up. I suffered from many conditions such as chronic fatigue, ME, fibro myalgia, high blood pressure, diabetes type 2, frequent bladder infections, heavy aching legs, depression, sciatica, short term memory loss, poor eyesight, agoraphobia, diverticulitis attacks, sinusitis, overweight, brain fog, degenerated left hip, snow white hair, generally felt and looked very old, sick and I was in pain. Nothing my GP gave me did any good at all and although being a trained nurse and trained naturopath myself I could not help myself either. I spent most of my time sitting, laying down or sleeping, I felt so bad that I didn´t want to go on living because I didn´t want to be a burden on my wonderful partner who had said "Even if I have to spoon feed you, I won´t leave you".

The day after I took my first pair of capsules, I woke up in the morning amazed that I could remember my dreams in vivid colour, I hadn´t been able to remember dreams for years, so I knew something dramatic was happening in my brain, and since that very first day I have gradually continued to improve in health and sense of wellbeing to the point that I no longer feel sick and old, my eyesight has improved dramatically and even my hair colour is gradually going back to it´s original shade.

Over a few weeks I gradually built up my dose to 6 pair of caps a day and stayed on that dose for 3 months, I now take 4 pair a day. Now, when I wake up in the morning I bounce out of bed work all day and hardly ever need to rest, I laugh a lot and I feel absolutely fantastic and people keep telling me how great I look. I have started an eBay business which keeps me very busy, I love it and I´m coping very well with it, considering I work 7 days a week and up to16 hours a day.

I truly believe that Ganoderma Lucidum has 'turned back the clock' for me and I never want to go back to the way I felt before. I plan to take these "miracle" capsules for the rest of my life.

Karen Henderson,
N.D.,
OK lost about 5 pounds in the first 3 days after just drinking the coffee. I didn´t have any pills at all. I just was brought some samples and started drinking it and noticed that. nd I know I´ve had a lot more energy and just want to talk about all of the different uses of the coffee, the toothpaste all the different things. We´re so excited and my husbands loving it. He is a heavy duty coffee drinker and he was a little skeptical at first. He drank the black coffee and loved it. He said it tastes like it´s just been brewed. He´s lost weight too.

I wish to state that I had fluid retention, causing swollen ankles and general discomfort for at least 40 years, and after consuming a pair of Ganoderma capsules per day for less than two months, my ankles are back to normal, with no signs of swelling. I have more energy, and a continuing feeling of well being. I find the capsules also help Irritable Bowel condition, which I also have.

I have always been an active worker up until 4 years ago. When I stopped working I started to get very sick. After consuming Ganoderma I have noticed many good results. My memory and my sight are both very good now, I have a lot more strength for gardening and hard work, I can now run. I have noticed the warts that were on my hands have disappeared from applying Ganoderma toothpaste and now disappearing from my ankles. An infection in my leg healed very quickly while taking Ganoderma. My hair was white and is now returning to original colour, I also am noticing new growth now. I no longer suffer from poor digestion and heartburn. A cancer spot on my hand has now gone from applying the toothpaste. While taking Ganoderma I started to get a rash on my body, this was a reaction and I stopped taking the capsules, while I was not taking the capsules, my blood pressure rose to 220 and heart b p m were 257, so I took the capsules again. These are both now regular. I feel like I have a new life, I will never stop taking Ganoderma. I also use the shampoo, coffee and toothpaste.

Germaine Winspear
My 5 yr old son suffered from asthma. After consuming Ganoderma for 3 weeks, he coughed and vomited a lot of mucus and phlegm from his lungs. This lasted for about 2 weeks on a dose of one pair of capsules per day. Normally he was only able to run around the outside of the house as fast as he could once. Then need his asthma pump. One day when racing  his brothers, he ran around the house 3 times in excellent time. To my surprise he was breathing deeply when finished and with no need for his pump. This to me is just amazing. With myself I noticed after consuming the capsules for one week my lower back pain was as if not even there, it is so minimal at around 5 %.I have had two spinal blocks with caesarean births and had 5 children altogether, so this has caused much back pain. My menstrual cycle was also extremely abnormal. After taking Ganoderma for 3 months all is very regular and normal now.

Anna Prince
In January I was bitten by a spider, on the top of the arm, near the armpit.It was a big, red, weeping mess for 6 months. After one week of ingesting one pair of Gano capsules a day I noticed a big improvement. After two weeks  of applying the toothpaste  it was completely gone, with no scar. I have energy to burn, I am working harder at 56 than I did in my 40`s ! Ganoderma is fantastic!!

Eddie: 63yrs
I have worked in the earthmoving, mining and construction industry for the past 45 years and believe me operating heavy machinery has taken its toll on my fitness and general health, not to mention high blood pressure, the onset of arthritis, back and neck pain and being overweight

In 1976 I sustained a severe right shoulder injury when tossed over a fence by a bull I incurred extensive soft tissue damage and over the years the doctors could only prescribe painkillers, mostly panadene forte I have been unable to sleep on my right side as numbness and pins-and-needles would give me constant pain.

In mid 2003 when going to climb down a ladder into an excavation the ladder collapsed and I fell 18 feet to the bottom with one leg twisted in the ladder Again after several x-rays there was no broken bones Two separate doctors concluded I had sustained torn cartilage and soft tissue damage and was a prime candidate for a knee replacement The only relief from pain was hot packs and massage lotions which would last 3 to 4 hours My knee would give-way as soon as I put my weight on it

I was first introduced to the products in late March/04 I rubbed the toothpaste on my aching knee after a shower one night and the next morning the pain had eased a lot and my knee did not collapse under my weight.

A week later I started taking the capsules. After two days I asked my wife how long did it take for the products to work? She didn´t know, as she was still learning about these products. She asked why? Well I said "I hardly notice any pain in my knee."

I have been taking the ganoderma capsules now for 6 weeks and will not be without them ever because of the tremendous relief. It´s given me. I can now sleep on my right side very comfortably the toothpaste I am rubbing on the sunspots on my hands, upper arms and face the more recent ones are disappearing very quickly. I´m looking forward to my next medical check, which I have every 6 months. Maybe my blood pressure will be normal.

To those of you who are operating heavy machinery or driving trucks and can relate to these conditions I have experienced you won´t know what these marvellous Chinese herbs can do for you till you try them

Ron Kennedy Geebung Service Centre.
  I was diagnosed with a mass in my stomach, possibly cancerous. My doctor proposed surgery but I decided to do a Detox, up to 30 pairs of Ganoderma per day. When I returned 15th September there was no mass left. I believe Ganoderma helped to remove it. I believe that everyone needs Ganoderma in his or her lives.

Erickaunna Schmidt:
Aged 75
I lost one kidney in an accident, and then I got cancer of the throat, uterus and my remaining kidney. I half-healed myself through organic foods for 3 weeks, amazing my doctor. Then I found Ganoderma and am now completely free of Cancer. Also, my granddaughter was very sick at birth, and in intensive care. We added Ganoderma to the breast-milk, which was expressed for her. She was discharged from hospital 2 days later!

Bruce & Greta Howard
I am aged 67 years - and reside in Auckland, New Zealand - This testimonial is freely given to assist any person who may wish to use the products RG - Reishi Gano and GL - Ganocelium that they should have no hesitation about the safety on ingesting some. I have been using the tablets for three months now and although sceptical to start with is now a firm adherent to the regime recommended. I started with the de-tox program and then have been having a pair of tablets a day ever since.

For the past 8 years approx. I have been suffering from Schamberg's disease (progressive pigmented purpura) on the lower right leg. This unsightly condition has lessened quite significantly in the colour and area previously affected. Further, a large varicose vein on the right calf has almost receded back to skin level and diminished in size and colour, indicating the restoration of near normal blood flow and reduction in potential clotting.

In addition two benign growths, one on the upper spine which protruded radially, and the other on the left side of the neck, have receded to the point where there the have almost disappeared and become unnoticeable. This is quite remarkable as for the past several years they had been growing!

My wife, who is 63, and myself have both noticed our hair has been growing faster and thickening. Mine is even encroaching over the bald spot on my crown - to the point where my barber is commenting. Both of us have also experienced our skin becoming less dry, with flaking and cracking disappearing where once we had to use a salve to keep the skin moisturized, especially on our lower limbs. My wife has also noticed her spider varicose veins are fading. Our general feeling of well-being has increased as well. We now consider the use of these products to be part and parcel of our normal health regime.

We have no hesitation in accepting enquiries as to the above statements of fact.

Nana Smith
was diagnosed with Dementia in August 2004. She was unable to walk and was incontinent. After taking 3 pairs daily of  Ganoderma capsules for only 5 days she was able to walk well and her cognitive function was returning. After 7.5 weeks she went from high to low care at a nursing home and has now returned to her own home. She continues to improve. (written for her by her daughter Kay Smith)

They have found the main benefit of the Ganoderma Mushroom is that it disrupts androgen receptor behaviours and helps to impeed the spread of cancerous cells.

A lot of research has been conducted over the last 3-4 decades about the way in which certain fungi have amazing medicinal properties. One of the most important areas of research are the way that these fungi can help combat cancer and help boost the immune system.

Gano Cafe

Gano Café, also known as Ganoderma Coffee, is the official name for a gourmet black coffee combined of Brazilian coffee beans and Ganoderma mushroom extract. Gano Café is the first beverage to combine coffee with Ganoderma which the Chinese have used for 1000's of years as a medicine. Ganoderma was once very scarce and expensive.

Through the years, the process of growing the herb indoors have made it more accessible and affordable. Gano Excel, the creators of Gano Café, claim to own the world’s largest organic Ganoderma plantation, which includes a greenhouse maintained for the production of Ganoderma.

Ganoderma, which is one of the main ingredients in Gano Café, is one of the oldest and most respected mushrooms used in medicine. It’s thought to promote longevity due to it’s ability to strengthen the immune system. Gano Café brings many benefits into the comfort of your home, including the increase of oxygen to the brain, improved sleep patterns, weight balance, PH balance, improvements of blood circulation and promotes a healthier immune system. When in tact, the immune system is designed to detect and fight against viruses and other bacteria before they cause harm to the body. It is thought that Ganoderma, a main ingredient in Gano Café, may even prevent the reoccurrence of cancer.

Ganoderma has also been known to be effective in treating a wide variety of illnesses, such as HIV/AIDS, lung and liver disorders, allergies, coronary disorders and stress. One of the symptoms of stress includes sleep deprivation. Gano Café is actually designed to promote a restful night's sleep whereas other coffees may hinder the ability to rest. Ganoderma, itself, is known to improve overall mental health and help to ease other symptoms related to stress. While it's uncertain whether or not Gano Café carries the full healing potential of a regular Ganoderma medical treatment, studies will continue so that this miraculous herb's full capabilities may someday be realized.

Gano Café is desirable, in part, due to the fact that is has less caffeine than regular decaffeinated coffee products. In addition, Gano Café carries no side effects while promoting a natural healing ability. Said to be "The World's 1st Healthy Coffee," this product has made quite a splash in coffee cups throughout the world. Gano Cafe can be found in some specialty stores, but is more readily available on the internet.

Ganoderma - Helping Keep The Body Safe

Dxn is a company that harvests these unique mushrooms at two stages in their growth cycle. The mushroom is first harvested when it is only 18 days old, at this stage they aren't even in the "mushroom form" that we are used to seeing, they are more a web or roots. These are known mycelium. Dxn gathers these mycelium and grounds them to make a powder which it puts into its capsules and sell them as GL or Ganocelium. The second part of the harvest is done when the Ganoderma mushrooms have matured (roughly 90-100 day old). These too are ground down into a powder and put in capsules and marketed as Reishi Ganoderma.

Now these two capsules vary in the way the give the human body benefits.They both contain high levels of Organic Germanium and Polysaccharides which makes Ganoderma so unique and effective. While there are a lot of other herbs that may contain these elements there is not one that contains the levels that the single ganoderma mushroom does, yet another reason why Ganoderma is so well respected.

Polysaccharides are thought to increase your bodies antibody count which in turn boosts your immune system and assists in elimiating viruses. Ganoderma is also thought to be a detoxifying agent which can help reduce blood sugar levels there by helping your pancreas.

Germanium is thought to regualate blood flow and increase the amount of oxygen that the body can absorb. It is also thought to regualate electrical charges in ones body as well as increasing metabolism.

Ganocelium contains high levels of Ribonuleic Acid which is thought to disrupt viral deseases. It has an effective histamine inhibitor known as Oleic Acid but it also has another histamine inhibitor known as Cyclo Octasulfur. An immuno modulator know as LZ-8 is also present.Ganocelium contains four times the amount of Germanium and Polysaccharides than Reishi Ganoderma.

Reishi Ganoderma contains other elements such as Adenosine which is know to lower cholestrol and fat that may occur in our blood. It also is though to balance the pH levels in our blood as help inhibit platelet aggulation which will help prevent blockages. Ganoderic Acid which is also present aids in histamine release which can help in any reactions to allergic reactions. Ganoderic Essence is thought to be regenerator assisting in the repair of our skin and tissue.

Ganoderma is know as a adaptogen which means that it has no known side effects. It's non specifc meaning it helps the entire body. Users or Ganocelium and Reishi Ganoderma have reported a wide range of benefits both physically and mentally as it silently helps balance our bodys systems.

According to one of the researchers, prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers found through out the world. This particular cancer is controlled by adnrogen receptors, particullarily at the early stages of the disease. This is why all current medications that are used to help beat prostate cancer work by trying to reduce the manufacture of androgens or at the very least they interfere with their function through the androgen receptors.

The researchers tested 201 organic extracts from over 68 different types of fungus. Out of the 201 choosen extracts there was only 11 that were found to successfully deter androgen receptor activity in excess of 40%

Additional testing of 169 extracts that were tested for cancer cell inhibition found that 14 of the extracts were indeed successfull in inhibiting prostate cancer cells Out of all the successful extracts the Ganoderma Lucidum ones were found to be the best at inhibiting the adrogen receptors and controling the development of cancerous cells. The researchers concluded that bioactive metabolites manufactured from Ganoderma could indeed yeild an anti prostate cancer drug.
